Apple pen device Coil in Canada: the deals shortlist
Apple in Canada: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with apple in Canada
Apple in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.47 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple pen device really costs in Canada
A apple pen device from the discounted options in Canada costs about CA$3.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Canada.
Where apple goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is apple legal to sell in Canada?
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
How long does apple in a pen device last?
In Canada we measured 9 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
