Coffee starter kit Coil in Canada: the order shortlist
Coffee in Canada: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What the label on Coffee is allowed to say
We run coffee the same way in Canada: same starter kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.58 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee starter kit really costs in Canada
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested coffee in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Canada.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised CA$48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.58 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions

How long does coffee in a starter kit last?
In Canada we measured 6 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
