Frozen RDA Coil in Canada: the cheap shortlist
Frozen in Canada: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
Frozen in Canada reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.75 per 10 ml.
The short version: frozen in Canada works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Canada
If you are looking at frozen in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Canada survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.

|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Frozen | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Canada |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Canada | 3–6 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | CA$43 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | CA$2.75 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$2.75 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does frozen in a RDA last?
In Canada we measured 8 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
