Iced cartomizer Coil in Canada: the cheap shortlist
Iced in Canada: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Coil life, liquid cost and the iced habit
The honest read on iced: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.1 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced cartomizer really costs in Canada
A iced cartomizer from the cheapest options in Canada costs about CA$2.1 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
