Lemon starter kit Coil in Canada: the online shortlist
Lemon in Canada: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What the label on Lemon is allowed to say
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$1.71 per 10 ml.
A lemon starter kit from the online options in Canada costs about CA$1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: lemon in Canada works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon starter kit really costs in Canada
We run lemon the same way in Canada: same starter kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lemon in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Canada.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 3–6 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
