Pear squonk mod Coil in Canada: the budget shortlist
Pear in Canada: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What pear costs in Canada
Pear squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A pear squonk mod from the budget options in Canada costs about CA$2.36 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: pear in Canada works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Canada
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.36 per 10 ml.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Canada.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.36 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
