Plain box mod Coil in Canada: the budget shortlist
Plain in Canada: 12 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
The honest read on plain: 12 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Canada. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain box mod really costs in Canada
If you are looking at plain in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Canada.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$2.55 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does plain in a box mod last?
In Canada we measured 8 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.55 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
