Plain sub-ohm kit Coil in Canada: the guide shortlist
Plain in Canada: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
The honest read on plain: 20 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A plain sub-ohm kit from the starter options in Canada costs about CA$2.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Canada
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Canada.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised CA$61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.98 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
