Plain vape pen Coil in Canada: the best shortlist
Plain in Canada: 17 units tested over 2 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Plain vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain vape pen really costs in Canada
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$1.79 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Canada.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
