Plum box mod Coil in Canada: the compare shortlist
Plum in Canada: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Canada
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$1.81 per 10 ml.
A plum box mod from the compared options in Canada costs about CA$1.81 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Canada
Plum in Canada reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised CA$51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$1.81 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for plum in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
