Plum squonk mod Coil in Canada: the guide shortlist
Plum in Canada: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
A plum squonk mod from the starter options in Canada costs about CA$3.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: plum in Canada works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in Canada
We run plum the same way in Canada: same squonk mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised CA$55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.15 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Canada survives.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$3.15 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
