Salted vape pen Coil in Canada: the flat shortlist
Salted in Canada: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Delivery, returns and what 3–6 business days really means
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$1.96 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Canada
Salted in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Canada.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Treating the advertised CA$41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$1.96 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
