Sour squonk mod Coil in Canada: the flat shortlist
Sour in Canada: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Choosing a squonk mod for sour
A sour squonk mod from the flat-rate options in Canada costs about CA$3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Sour in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Canada
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Canada.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Canada survives.
- Treating the advertised CA$32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.59 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for sour in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
