Sour starter kit Coil in Canada: the review shortlist
Sour in Canada: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on sour: 15 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Canada
If you are looking at sour in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
