Cream box mod Coil in Canada: the price shortlist
Cream in Canada: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What cream costs in Canada
We run cream the same way in Canada: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A cream box mod from the value options in Canada costs about CA$3.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: cream in Canada works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream box mod really costs in Canada
If you are looking at cream in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cream in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a cream bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cream goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised CA$54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.06 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cream with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does cream taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cream blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should cream start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$3.06 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
