Tropical starter kit Coil in Canada: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Canada: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Canada
Tropical starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run tropical the same way in Canada: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tropical in Canada works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Canada
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised CA$62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$1.66 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Tropical | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | starter kit | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 13 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Canada |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Canada | 3–6 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | CA$62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | CA$1.66 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Can I order Coil online in Canada?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 3–6 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
