Vanilla vape pen Coil in Canada: the deals shortlist
Vanilla in Canada: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Vanilla in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A vanilla vape pen from the discounted options in Canada costs about CA$1.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: vanilla in Canada works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla vape pen really costs in Canada
A vanilla vape pen from the discounted options in Canada costs about CA$1.91 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Canada.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for vanilla in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
